The Online TCG titled
The Far Wilds is releasing a new expansion in November called “
Borderlands”. It adds two new races to the world of the
Far Wilds. The Celestial Imperium moves out toward the northern wastes to respond to the rising tide of the Hordes of Chaos. Disciplined and Powerful Psions wield their minds against twisted Mutants. Priests and Paladins of Xosa battle with Demons and armies of Orcs across the wilderness of the Borderlands.
The goal in Far Wilds is to control the most Flux wells. You do generally do this with buildings. Borderlands introduces some new and interesting ways to move your Buildings so you can quickly position them by Flux wells.
This expansion includes 250 cards and will cost 150 in-game gold to purchase, or about $3.00. We will be spotlighting some of the new cards released leading up the expansion release and we kick of this week with an exclusive peek at two cards.
Side Note: The Far Wilds is played on a map with fog of war. So vision is a very important element of your strategy. To be effective you have to discover the terrain out there and keep an eye on what the enemy is up to. There are several cards coming up in Borderlands that alter vision and its uses.

Wayward Alp is a wandering mountain. Anything ontop of it will move
along with the mountain. So any building built above the Alp can be
moved toward a Flux well.
There are also many other interesting things you can build and move
around with Wayward Alp. For Example:

This mysterious Orb will take control of any creatures that happen to
wander next to it. But with the Alp you no longer have to wait for
them to wander by. You can move the Orb next to the enemy making it
much more dangerous.
The Alp is a great card but requires a Mountain on the map in the
right place for it to be of the greatest use since you can only place
the enchantment in a mountain space. Borderlands also adds a lot of
new ways to alter the terrain of the map to your advantage so you
should be able to make a mountain if there isn't one in the right
place for the Alp.

This dread demon is one of Surk's minions. Not only he is a force to
be reckoned with on the battlefield, he is able to bend the terrain
around him. Combo him with the Alp and he can raise the map to create
mountains for the Wayward Alp where you most need them.
